Queensland & New South Wales
The states Queensland and New South Wales together are called the East Coast of Australia.
It is the easiest Australian coast to travel because towns and cities are all closely connected. Queensland is my favourite state and I have called it my home for many years. There are stunning rainforests to explore, the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsunday islands, and you can also find the biggest sand island in the world here: Fraser Island.
New South Wales has pretty Sydney as its capital and lots of other cool destinations that you cannot miss, such as: the hippy town of Byron Bay, the Hunter Valley (famous for its wineries), and the Blue Mountains.
